Join us for yoga, pranayama and ayurveda classes and workshops at our beautiful yoga studio in the Uptown/River Bend area of New Orleans. We offer led ashtanga vinyasa yoga classes, Mysore-style astanga yoga classes and other forms of hatha yoga classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. We also provide private yoga classes, pranayama (breath practice) instruction and ayurveda, an individualized approach to wellness through diet and lifestyle.
Our yoga teachers are highly trained and skilled in working with students of different ages and abilities. We also bring in leading teachers from around the world to conduct yoga workshops and classes for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.
Our mission is to help you deepen your knowledge of yoga and pranayama, strengthen your practice, and become clearer, healthier and more balanced in all aspects of your life. Paul is the founder and director of
Jessica spent 2004-2007 working at the first location of Yoga Thailand. Living and working there had a profound impact on her life, especially due to the experience of truly living the yoga, delicious vegetarian food, a beautiful practice space, and a supportive environment. In order to better serve the thousands that now come from around the globe for yoga, it has grown from a small set of bungalows to a custom-built center, retaining the spirit and yogic energy. The new Yoga Thailand is a beautiful, retreat center built to welcome yoga practitioners from all over the world, and is nestled in coconut groves facing untouched beaches. Jessica returns to Yoga Thailand to teach a two week yoga retreat with lectures on Ayurveda and Nutrition. There will be a morning Mysore Style practice contact by Jessica and Paul Dallaghan, who is certified by Sri Pattabhi Jois, and is Jessica's asana teacher. Jessica will teach afternoon sessions on Ayurveda and Nutrition and lead evening programs. You will still have lots of time to relax, see the island, and try out the fantastic Thai massages.
