Post-Mardi Gras Candlelight Yoga, Feb. 26th 7pm

Come and let your ears be charmed by the sweet guitar music of Gipson B and Benny D, two talented guitar players who have studied and played together for many years and together produce a harmonious and enchanting sound. 2010 Eight Week Pranayama Series

Pranayama is the use of the breath and the entire respiratory system to purify and strengthen the nerves. This leads to greater control of the senses, better capacity to handle stress, and a calm, clear, state of mind. The effects of Pranayama last throughout the day when you develop a consistent practice. is This Series give you the opportunity to be introduced and to practice the techniques in a supportive environment. July 10-24 2010, Yoga Thailand Retreat with Jessica

Yoga Thailand BeachJessica spent 2004-2007 working at the first location of Yoga Thailand. Living and working there had a profound impact on her life, especially due to the experience of truly living the yoga, delicious vegetarian food, a beautiful practice space, and a supportive environment. In order to better serve the thousands that now come from around the globe for yoga, it has grown from a small set of bungalows to a custom-built center, retaining the spirit and yogic energy. The new Yoga Thailand is a beautiful, retreat center built to welcome yoga practitioners from all over the world, and is nestled in coconut groves facing untouched beaches. Jessica returns to Yoga Thailand to teach a two week yoga retreat with lectures on Ayurveda and Nutrition. There will be a morning Mysore Style practice contact by Jessica and Paul Dallaghan, who is certified by Sri Pattabhi Jois, and is Jessica's asana teacher. Jessica will teach afternoon sessions on Ayurveda and Nutrition and lead evening programs. You will still have lots of time to relax, see the island, and try out the fantastic Thai massages.
