Tai Chi is a gentle martial art form taught as moving meditation. You’ll learn and practice a series of movements in a slow sequence sometimes called a Tai Chi dance.

Proven benefits of a regular practice include

  • promoting well-being

The ancient practice of Qi Gong combines breath, simple movements, and mental focus to promote and sustain deep healing in body, mind, and spirit. The result is increased vitality and health.

Marilyn Yank, Tai Chi Teacher New OrleansMarilyn Yank has been a student of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, meditation, yoga, and movement arts for most of her life,  and a teacher for the last 15 years.

She is skilled in adapting her classes to reflect the needs and physical capabilities of the clientele.

Marilyn learned her Yang style form in the lineage of Master Da Liu and  is a certified  teacher through the Institute for Integral Qi Gong and Tai Chi (IIQTC). She is also certified in Agroecology (UCSC /02) , and is an experienced retreat guide and workshop facilitator.

Marilyn is a wonderful teacher. I do not think one could find a better person to learn tai chi from then Marilyn.
