The holidays can be an extremely stressful period.  Learn natural remedies that will help you to feel calm and centered.  This series will be a combination of breath work (Pranayama), relaxation and meditation techniques. We will also incorporate gentle yoga postures to open the chest and encourage deep breathing. Each week a different meditation technique will be explored, including candlelight meditation (tratak), sound meditation, and sitting with the breath. This will be combined with general discussion of lifestyle choices to increase happiness and contentment.

Pranayama is the limb of yoga that uses the breath to affect the body and especially the mind and nervous system. Pranayama helps us to find balance by releasing excess tension in the nervous system. The breathing exercises taught in the session will help you establish a deep-seated internal awareness and to clear and focus the mind.

Cost: Six week series special price: $66 if booked by November 7th, $78 otherwise.  Class cards can be used for this series.  Book online.

Hi Jessica,
Philip McCann here. May I enroll in your workshop class starting Sept. 5th, using my remaining classes I pre-paid for and making up the difference as necessary? Thanks, as I’m sure you hear all too often, I have been very busy and miss yoga. I hope all is well,

Hi Philip,

That would be fine. I know how it is to be busy, but yoga gives such clarity, I try not to miss it anymore, even when extremely busy.
Just a little morning sitting does wonders for my psyche.
