CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

I completed a 400 hour yoga teacher training at Swan River Yoga in 2016. I also completed a trauma informed training with Street Yoga in 2013 when I was working with homeless youth. I am currently in my second year of an intensive Iyengar teacher training. 

INSPIRATION

I practice for my well-being, for my daughter and my community. I believe taking care of yourself in our world can be challenging, and yoga helps me to strive to be my best self.

WHY I PRACTICE

I fell in love with yoga and really did not see it coming. I humbly started this practice years ago because I injured myself as a distance runner. I continue to practice because the art, science and philosophy of yoga have become my guiding stars. This practice allows me to be grounded and celebratory in my own skin. 

WHY I TEACH

I teach because I love learning. I consider myself a life-long learner, and I love to share information and also learn from all of my students. It is an honor and a privilege for me.
