Authorized Level 2, Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, I was authorized to teach Ashtanga Yoga by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in 2005.
Pranayama, authorized to teach pranayama by Sri O.P. Tiwari of the Kaivalyadham in 2008. He's been my mentor and teacher since 2003.
Ayurvedic Practitioner since 2005,  ‚ÄčNational Ayurvedic Medical Association Member, principal teachers Atreya Smith and Sunil Joshi.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed in the state of Louisiana since 2013

MY INSPIRATION

I am inspired by my students, my teachers, my children, my husband. I'm inspired by the yoga practices that have helped me become a more compassionate, understanding, and connected person. 

WHY I PRACTICE

I practice because yoga helps me to be a kinder more patient human being. It helps me to see my shortcomings and to accept them openly. I practice because yoga helps me to understand the interconnected nature of my body, mind and spirit. I practice because managing stress is a key to longevity and long term health. I practice for my children. 

WHY I TEACH

I teach because I believe that everyone has the right to be happy and free. I teach because with a little bit of yoga, everyone can experience a more connected experience of life on earth. I teach because people need these practices. Mainly, I teach because I feel a deep calling to share yoga with everyone.
