I am an NSCA Fitness Trainer & Pilates Instructor here in NOLA.                                                                                                                                                                               

MY INSPIRATION

My inspiration is drawn from both my early childhood and from my students...My parents were in the Military so I grew up watching soldiers perform their morning exercises everyday and have always viewed exercise as a regular part of life. However, after extensive studies, I realize that there are many degrees of physical fitness as well as varying desires to exercise. I do my best to adapt my teaching style to the student in front of me to make sure they receive the best instruction/motivation for their style of learning. In this way, my students inspire me to grow by challenging me to continuously learn new ways to help others.

WHY I PRACTICE

I practice movement modalities such as yoga, weightlifting, HIIT, and other forms of exercise for the joy of moving my body. I also enjoy the health benefits such as increased energy, stress relief, and deeper awareness of my overall capacity for movement.  

WHY I TEACH

​I teach to empower. My goal is always to share what I have learned over the years with the intention of strengthening my students’ personal awareness. With a deeper understanding of their mind body connections they are more capable of being their best selves in their daily flow of life. What’s more, if they are training for a specific physical accomplishment (such as running their first 5k) I’m always eager to help them to reach their goals.
