Spring Series: 4-Week Intro to Yoga

An intro series is the perfect way to get started with yoga if you are new or want a progressive introduction to yoga. Experience and/or flexibility are NOT required for these series.

Intro to Yoga: Focus on Alignment with Amanda Credeur

Amanda Credeur Balance Bio Photo This series will demystify every cue you’ll hear in yoga classes, from locating your sits bones to learning to open your heart center. This course is great for anyone who wants a more personal approach to alignment. Each class will cover the basics and nuances of fundamental yoga poses and overall body alignment. The series format allows the teacher to work with you to find the your optimal alignment in each pose.

Come with your alignment questions or no experience at all, and leave with a greater understanding of how to practice yoga comfortably and safely.

Cost: $60/4-week session
Drop in students: $20/class

Yoga can improve your life by reducing stress, calming your mind and improving fitness and flexibility. In this series, you touch upon the roots of yoga while learning simple tools to help you to feel better every day.Explore the fundamental elements of yoga—breathing, postures and meditation with a group of like-minded students. This is a practical course– what you learn can help you to improve your life off the mat.

Basic seated & standing postures, breathing techniques as well as an intro to seated meditation will be included in each session.
