Let's reconnect -- Spring Yoga Challenge

Does any of this sound familiar?

“I’ve struggled with zoom yoga classes for months. I miss seeing people in person."

“I've gained the COVID five, or ten or fifteen.”

“I want to get more into yoga, but I don't know where to start.”

You're not alone. Most people think a lot about making changes....starting yoga, eating healthier, but they procrastinate. The best thing you can do is take one step. Take action.

Hey, it's okay. Please don't judge yourself. Now is a good time to recommit to taking care of yourself. Yoga is a great place to start.

This is the time to try out a new style of yoga. Or commit to coming to yoga regularly. We have just the tools for you.

Let's face it, this has been a challenging year.

The usual things, social temptations, too much to do....don't apply.
We've all faced a unique set of obstacles. Too much alone time, no alone time. Nowhere to practice, tired of zoom.

Perhaps we've turned a corner.

Just for a moment, imagine this

  • You’re no longer struggling to find your way alone. You have guides and others who have similar challenges.
  • You know exactly what to do. You have a plan for your yoga and you’re committed to following it.
  • You're accountable and you get stickers. Your name is on a board at the studio. Each time you come to yoga, you put a sticker by your name.

The yoga challenge helped reinforce that consistency is key. Every practice didn’t need to be an hour and a half of my best. It was more important to show up on the mat and take whatever time I had to breath and move my body. I think now more than ever, yoga is a nonnegotiable for me, and I definitely think the yoga challenge helped establish that.

I don’t think I would be able to handle the stress of applying to medical school, or life in general, without my practice.
