MY INSPIRATION

My son, my role as his mother, and my joy of teaching.  Yoga inspires me to be a better person, to want more for myself and my family, to enjoy what I do, and to share that experience with other women

WHY I PRACTICE

Yoga forces me to look at areas of my life where I’m not super satisfied and allows me to create something different instead.  Every time I show up on my mat, I get to be me, no judgment, no expectations. Yoga is my form of meditation, the way I express gratitude and appreciation, the way I work through my challenges.  I am thankful for the focus it creates, while alleviating my anxiety and overwhelm, as well as the foundation it sets to allow me to grow and flourish.

WHY I TEACH

I teach yoga to bring the rewards of yoga to the community.  So often people look at yoga as just the practice on the mat, but there’s so much more.  Yoga can literally change people lives, if they commit to the practice on and off the mat.  I am committed to sharing that message with other women and creating an environment for women to feel empowered in their health.

I love to teach intermediate to advanced asana, meditation, and workshops focused on both physical and mental health. I have been a student of yoga for over 10 years and share my experience to help other students develop a consistent practice.
